The best time to fish on the point of the Fort Morgan peninsula is always during a falling tide. This is highly recommended, since the trip takes some effort and time to make a success. The stronger the tide movement the better. If you plan your fishing trip on days with good tide movement that falls at least 8 to 12 inches plus, you will eliminate some of those not so good days. Why?The falling tide movement carries bait fish out of Mobile Bay and into the Gulf of Mexico. A lot of this bait movement will travel around the tip Fort Morgan peninsula along the beaches.
